The Ins and Outs About Mrs. Choman
Hi. I am Mrs. Choman :) Here are a few facts that kids in the past have asked me about my life.
I was born and raised on a ranch north of Bozeman, Montana with my parents and four older brothers. At that time, my name was Susie Morgan. Several years later my little brother and sister were born.
When I was a freshman in high-school, I moved to Sheridan, Wyoming. I then went back to college at Montana State University in Bozeman. But for my last year of college, I transfered to the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education with an emphasis in Middle School Science.
My first teaching job was in 1981 in Green River, Wyoming teaching math and Core classes. I've also taught in Arizona, California. My family finally landed in Wenatchee. We've been here for about 15 years. I have my Master's degree (Master's in Science, Science Education) through Montana State University ( 2002). I finished my Administrative Certificate through WSU in 2006.
My husband, Michael, teaches economics and accounting at Wenatchee Valley College.He's also a Jazz guitar player. His group is called Sixteen Strings. Our son Sammy is a 10th grader at WHS. He loves music and loves to play his guitar his clarinet, and my conga drums. Our daughter Mikki graduated from University of Washington in 2005. She's now living and working in London , England. It's been a great experience for us all. She is learning a lot about the world and we get to visit her and travel around Europe!
I also have 3 kitties, 1 dog, 2 finches, and 6 classes of 8th grade students!
