General Information	Materials	Expectations
There are two component to this class. First, we work the Connected Math program that your child is working on in their general eduaction class. I review all of the concepts that are being taught, and work with individuals to ensure their undestanding. The second component is that basic math skills. Each quarter, every student is given a packet of math on various topics at a lower math level. This is what they are graded on.	The only materials needed are a pencil, a binder with paper, and any Connected Math work. I have rulers, calculators, etc, available for classroom use, but they are also handy to have at home.	Students are expected to be to class on time, with materials. They are expected to have their math with them and be ready to work. They are expected to work on assignments that I have given them (basic skills usually for IEP requirements) when they are finished with their general education math.
