In the event that your student chooses Step 4:
1. Allow the student to explain what happened
2. Let the student know if you are able to come immediately to school or let them know when can you come.
3. Be aware that the student would not be allowed back in class until he or she has a successful conference. The student will sit on step 4 position while he/she waits for his parent/guardian.
4. In order to have a successful Step 4 conference students have to accept responsibility for his/her actions and have to be ready to return to class.

En caso que su estudiante escoja Paso 4:
1. Permita que el estudiante le explique qué sucedió.
2. Déjele saber al estudiante si usted puede venir de inmediato a la escuela o dígale cuándo puede venir.
3. Entienda que el estudiante no podrá regresar a clase hasta que tenga una conferencia exitosa. El estudiante se sentará en posición de Paso 4 mientras espera a su padre y/o guardián.
4. Para tener una conferencia de Paso 4 exitosa el estudiante tiene que aceptar responsabilidad por sus actos y estar listo para regresar al aula.
