Writing Contest

When?-----> now until Deadline: Wednesday, June 6

What? --------> Who can write a the best paper that answers the prompt:

Pick some memory from Pioneer describe the event. Tell why it has made Pioneer such a great place to attend school.
what? 1. identify and describe the event
why? 2. explain why it is such a powerful memory for you and why it makes Pioneer so great!
how? 3. include EXAMPLES to help with your explanation

Where? -------> Turn in your final draft in the Tech Lab

How? -------> Follow the guidelines below:

Rules for submission (if you don’t follow these, you will not even be considered):
•must be typed
•no more than 3 spelling error
•must focus on one topic: a book OR a movie OR a live performance

Prizes? ---->1st prize- $25 gift certificate to Hastings
2nd prize- $10 gift certificate to Hastings
3rd prize- $5 gift certificate to Hastings
*The top three papers will be published on the Internet!!!

Contest rubric:
